Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Phoenix, AZ

Pros

Flexible work arrangements, great promotional opportunities, facilities close to 101, and great salary in comparison to similar to positions w. other companies.

Cons

promoting fast isn't always a good thing here. Internal promotions do not always get paid the same as an external hire. Promotion salary increased is capped at a small percentage - exceptions are required for anything above the usual percentage.

Great company, but its a toss up as to the quality of training and your manager.

    Pros

Great benefits and a lot of resources on-site like cafeteria, nurse practitioner, etc. Everyone is nice and easy to get along with.

    Cons

While nice, some manager styles are not ideal resulting in training that isn't successful. Contradicting or completely false information from different coaches and an inability to fight to keep employees they say have great promise but aren't meeting goals because of a lack of support or accurate information. They have a style of training that may be improving, but up to now has not been successful since only 60% of one specific class actually gets out of training and stays with the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you ask for feedback, actually listen to it and apply it to the situation. And don't ask for that feedback after it is too late to actually help your trainees-we had to wait 3-4 weeks after we were supposed to give feedback to actually talk to someone and if feedback had been given earlier, it is possible that all that money spent on training us would not have been largely lost.

Great Benefits and Perks, Upper Management needs to re-think Metrics

Current Employee - Corporate Services Operations Tier III in Phoenix, AZ

    Pros

Great benefits. Frequent gifts and lunches. Free flu shots. Free nurse on location.

    Cons

Customer surveys count against representative even if they were for technical issues or another rep. Direct management has no control over surveys but will write up a rep regardless. One track counseling - behavior and performance count against you in one track instead of individually.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Re-think the survey and metrics system. Stop treating reps as numbers and stop firing good workers based on the unfair metrics system.
