Great Company, Too Much Outsourcing and Reorgs

Easy to move internally

ConsOutsourcing is a huge issue in IT and quality of work has suffered greatly due to this
Internal moves are easy, but pay is not comparable to external candidates
Too many reorgs, in other words, layoffs. Company has gone through 2-3 this year

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease bring development back in-house so IT projects are completed effectively and efficiently. Rework due to offshore development extremely impacts deadline and are often delayed. Offer competitive salaries to internal employees to retain top talent. Finds innovative ways to survive economic conditions other than multiple layoffs, decrease upper management bonus' instead of laying off great employees at the bottom.

Pros: Pay was beyond generous, cafeteria, co-workers, downtime, on-site nurse, PTO… Cons: Center closed....I would still be there today. Could be stressful… Advice to Senior Management: Bring Amex back to Greensboro or at least somewhere in… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
