Pros

Pay was good when I started Made some friends

Cons

Management only care about the bottom dollar and stats. Total disregard and inhuman treatment towards you when personal circumstances change. Job security depends on stats which are unfairly determined by customer feedback scores which include circumstances beyond the employees' control ie: interest rate, fees.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Practise what you preach. Value your employees as there would be no company without them

    I have been working at American Express full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good Culture, Good professional environment, Salary structure in general is slightly above market rate, Internal job postings system is awesome.

    Cons

    Since HR is outsourced its no longer employee friendly, employee related policies need to be re-evaluated, most people issues get solved by "my way or the highway approach" which is again HR related, external hiring of managers is blurring the work ethics and culture which was earlier strong, Slow with technological change

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management needs to re-assess the role of HR as it is practically starting to dictate how a business handles its employees. Outsourcing HR was probably the worst decision that has been taken by the gurgaon team.

    Pros

    Flex time / home office, salary a bit above market average.

    Cons

    Slow, no empowerment, not innovative, senior management lies to themselves, HR has some amazing tolls but often not used appropriately.
