Pros

Global company with rotational opportunities. Great brand and products. Some very smart people. Work-life balance is good overall, depends on how much the employee wants to engage.

Cons

Some pockets of politics and favor driven management, difficult to know before you join a team whether you're getting into one. Relatively poor compensation. Career advancement opportunities in some cases (not all) depend on loyalty and favoritism more than contribution and potential.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to your employees and take action before they go looking for other opportunities when the economy rebounds. Clean house by replacing those in upper mgmt that drive employee engagement down and attrition of the best employees up.
