Pros

It's a great company. A lot of room to grow as a person and with the company.

Cons

Phone job, which is never fun, but pay is more than adequate.

Advice to Management

Listen to their employees and value their opinions.

    Pros

You really are working on things that are core to the business. Second to none training on how to rise in the corporate world and be a leader

    Cons

Its a quintessential big Fortune 100 company that's been around for 150+ years with all of the issues that come with that.

    Advice to Management

    Become more innovative

    Pros

Good intro into the financial planning industry. Exposure to American Express' portfolio of products, corporate and client software systems. Experiencing interviews, fund manager sales pitches, advisor performance reviews. Experiencing the differences in advisor styles of managing/developing relationships with their clients.

    Cons

Not being able to do more legally without attaining Series exams. A lot of the work was repetitive and updating client portfolio files. Would have liked to learn more regarding portfolio managing and asset allocation.
