    I worked at American Family Insurance part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    the insurance itself is one of the best on the market and still recommend friends to another agent

    Cons

    poor training and unrealistic expectations of the the office team. over zealous performance expectations from the district office for the agent of the agency and the agents resulting in writing business that doesn't stay on the books. Cross selling is difficult due to the choices of life and health being limited and expensive

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    if you want sales agents to do what they do best (sell) have your admin staff do the majority of the paperwork and inputting of information
