No chance of advancement or raises

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsUniforms provided, steady work, work alone most of the time.

ConsYou work 50 to 60 hour weeks. The pay is totally luck of the draw - you could have 15 stops that don't bring in much money and make about 27k, or get 3 stops that make a lot of money and make about 40k. Seniority has no bearing. I've been here some years now (don't want to give identifying information) and still make the starting pay, in fact I was told no to a raise multiple times. In their job listings they so you get to enjoy evenings at home, but fail to say that since you start at 3AM, your evenings at home are spent sleeping. As soon as the economy picks up and more jobs become available I'm running far, far away.

Advice to Senior ManagementGiving employees raises might motivate them to do better work.

    Run and Never look back

Route Driver (Former Employee) Taylor, PA

I worked at American Food & Vending

Pros: Good pay Can eat anything from your truck Work by yourself Cons: Warehouse always running out of proiducts or giving you out of date products. When this happens the route drivers get in trouble. Managers never let… Advice to Senior Management: You guys should praise your drivers more because they are want keeps… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

This is a typical corporate run vending operation that treats its employees like robots.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Grand Prairie, TX

I worked at American Food & Vending

Pros: It's a job and a check, albeit a small one. Cons: 60-80 hour work weeks are commonplace. Salary compensation for such long hours and amount of labor involved is inadequate to say the least. Pay raises… Advice to Senior Management: Get some PR skills. Assuming that everyone is an incompetent… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
