    It's ran like a for-profit corporation, I feel deceived.

I have been working at American Heart Association

    Pros

The people on working in Health Strategies are amazing and implement some really great community programs. Competitive salary, in the non-profit world.

    Cons

It's all about the "bottom line" and will use guilt or "any means necessary" to get there. It's not about the mission. High turnover. Shady practices that are never officially put into writing, like the best practices, but are praised if it contributes to the bottom line.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Asking questions is not management, provide solutions. Just because it works on paper does not mean it will work in the real world.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO
