Pros

This is a great company to work for if you want to learn, grow, and be successful. They are looking for the best of the best and specifically people with a positive attitude, which means that everyone you're working with is amazing. They focus on hiring the right people, training them well, and putting systems in place to help them be successful.

Everything is based off production, so it doesn't matter how long you've been with the company, if you're a good producer, you get promoted. They say it's 80% you, 10% training, and 10% luck.

Probably the best thing about this company is they give you leads. Unlike a lot of insurance companies or other sales jobs, you're not contacting everyone you know to try and sell them something. However, the leads are another way they weed people out; if you're not producing, you don't get more leads.

Cons

It's not a difficult job, but it takes a very specific type of person/personality to do it well and be successful. There is a lot of turnover, simply because those people don't fit the company or the job doesn't suit them. Absolutely give it a shot, but don't be shocked or offended when it doesn't work out.

Like starting a business, there are start up costs. You'll need a laptop with a bag/briefcase, which they don't provide, and some basic office supplies like pens and sticky notes. It depends on where you're working, but there is going to be a lot of gasoline involved as well. It pays for itself as you begin writing business, but there is a lot of driving around to meet with people while you are getting started.

Advice to Management

Management does a great job investing in their people, but they need to constantly remind themselves to lead by example. Some are better than others at this.

    Pros

Great atmosphere, Great people, Great oppurtunity.

    Cons

What you are lead to believe in the interviewing process is not true. Leads "WILL" be a problem and it is all on you to generate more leads. IF you are ethical and have integrity like me you will find it very hard decieving people the way your managers want you to.

    Advice to Management

The company is set in it's ways. it needs to be changed.

    Pros

The company as a whole seems to be a pretty good company. If you live in the right area, you may be able to make a lot of money.

    Cons

If you live in the wrong area or if you do not have a good managment team you will lose money. You are suppose to start making money after 2-3 weeks. Three of my co-workers and I, started at the same time and did not see a dime for over two months. It has a large buy in that is not exsplained to you therefor, you have a can end up losing money like we did.

    Advice to Management

Just be honest. Tell people upfront about the amount of money and time it takes. Dont wait till the last minute to let people know what is going on.
