I have been working at American Income Life as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You have the ability to make your own hours, write your own paychecks, and determine your managerial career path through the amount of effort you put forth. It is the type of career where you are rewarded for your extra effort.

    Cons

If you do not have a positive attitude and can not give full effort EVERYDAY the culture will not be a good fit for you. It is not a place for people lacking ambition and a zest for setting high goals

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Having more management workshops with entry level managers to give insight into their success when visiting satellite offices.

I worked at American Income Life as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

    Freedom of schedule
    Good motivation
    Constant seminar on success
Chance of making a lot of money

    Cons

You work everyday, every hour of your existence. There is no life outside of AIL, and they are not shy about telling you that this is how it should be. I would only do it if you are single and have no problem devoting everything for the sake of possibly making a lot of money.

    Atmosphere at times is unprofessional
Pay is extremely inconsistent, you get paid once a week, but there are always people canceling or not paying their premiums and you must payback the advance one way or another.

Your first three months will seem like you are making a ton of money until right around month four when customers start to drop their policies.

Feels very much like you're a hamster in a wheel in this job.

This will be your hardest 30k per year you'll ever earn as an agent, and then Possibly your easiest six figure income as a high manager, you'll ever make. If you make it that far.

in a wheel doing this job.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
