Pros

- Tons of support, they really prepare you for the job
- Understanding of "family life"
- Great PTO and vacation
- Health benefits are amazing
- You are treated like a person and not a machine who does not matter
- Potential to make a lot of money!

Cons

This job is not for everyone, you have to work very hard and find a good balance between work and home but it is possible. It can be long hours but it really pays off in the long run.

    Pros

This company is such a positive company to work for! There is always someone to help you out if you have a question about something or need advice on how to better your career! As a sales rep, you are in complete control of your earnings, and the sky is the limit!

    Cons

This job is not for everyone. It is a lot of hours and takes a lot of hard work and dedication. You need to be thick skinned and be able to handle rejection.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing the leadership trainings on a monthly basis and the morning leadership calls! These are so awesome to be a part of!

Don't waste your time, unless you're just trying to gain experience in entry level outside sales

I worked at American Marketing and Publishing

    Pros

Easy hire (good entry level sales job)
    Decent sales training
Nice, friendly, and helpful, yet hard to reach management

    Cons

    Unrealistic expectations
No commission until you have reached your quota
No warning that most territories have already been visited regularly for years by previous reps
Many territories are very rural and lack new businesses for sales opportunities
Poor gas allowance (definitely does NOT cover gas costs while on the job)
Terrible work/life balance!!! Be prepared to work days, evenings and weekends 6 or 7 days a week
    Poor base salary
EXTREMELY HIGH TURNOVER RATE, most reps don't survive 6 months, gee I wonder why! :/

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more realistic about your expectations, people can't sell to new businesses that don't exist no matter how many hours they spend out in their territories or on their laptops searching for new leads

    No opinion of CEO
