I worked at American National Insurance full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

37.5 hour work week with some departments working 4 day work weeks. Most departments are pretty decent to work for. Good place to work for 1 year to obtain experience.

    Cons

Company is lacking leadership with management/officer level- only concerned about themselves. HR doesn't basically exist nor shows concern. Entry level position pay are terrible compared to current job market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus more employee needs instead of your salary. Pay more to keep personnel from leaving. Start by reviewing each officer and ascertaining feedback from current personnel under that officer-- I am sure you will see personnel are not happy.
