    Solid college job.

Lab Technician (Former Employee) Detroit, MI

I worked at American Red Cross part-time for less than a year

Pros: Pay is ok for living expenses while going to college and unlike most employers… Cons: They like to have a reason to let you go… Advice to Senior Management: More hands on training vs long reading assignments. It will… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More

The Phoenix location of the American Red Cross, Blood Services the worst place I have ever worked!

Customer Service Specialist (Former Employee) Phoenix, AZ

I worked at American Red Cross full-time for more than a year

Pros: You can be a very close personal friend with your boss, going out to lunch in front of all of the employees and not try… Cons: You are yelled at almost daily and degraded because the supervisor thinks she can. The Tucson office is out of the picture and visit… Advice to Senior Management: Hire someone as supervisor at Phoenix who is not a previous co-worker in the area and a "best friend" to one of the employees. … No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
