I have been working at American Systems

Pros – The best reason I have found to work at American Systems is that the company is employee owned, and has been paying 7-12% per year additional once you are fully vested after five years.

Cons – I feel like if you are good at your job, and keeping the customer happy, American Systems will keep you in that job regardless of your potential for another fit. They want to keep the customer happy.

Advice to Senior Management – Don't sacrifice an employee who can, should, and wants to move up to keep a tenuous relationship with a customer alive without compensating that employee and letting them know why you are doing what you are doing.
