    I have been working at Amerigroup full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Four weeks of vacation a year. Five weeks after five years.

    Cons

    Overly political.
    Teams and departments are encouraged to work against each other by management in effort to make other teams look bad. There's little evidence that teams work for the same company, or even the same department.
    Benefits continue to decline year after year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Respect and trust your employees.
    Respect boundaries for work/life balance.
    Be upfront about expectations.

    I have been working at Amerigroup full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Staff are friendly and truly want to help people.

    Cons

    Company policy and management have us delay certification for patient's testing, or office visits, causing a lot of grief for the patient, and essentially putting their health at risk on a daily basis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't make it so hard for doctors offices to provide services for patients that pay hard earned money for their insurance to provide the health services they need.
