Ameriprise – “Ameriprise Financial should be renamed INDIAprise Financial”

Pros

I used to have reasons but being replaced tends to cloud the memory. While working there over the years I was able to advance to many interesting positions. They also helped pay for getting my degree which is a valuable asset. My performance was recognized with raises and bonuses.

Cons

It angers me to be forced to personally train the people coming from India who are going to take our jobs back to India with them after they are trained. To get their visa to come here and be trained they have to lie and say they are not taking jobs away from Americans. BUT THEY ARE!

Advice to Senior Management

Promote jobs in the United States not India
