I worked at Ameriprise as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Pleasant people to work with overall, Financial Advisors are involved in their communities, treat clients with respect, honest, ethical business practices used. Highly secure computer software is used with layers of security for every software program. Clients provided with detailed reports and information. Ameriprise job opportunities are all across the U.S. that can be searched on their website.

    Cons

Bad apple manager protected by management due to personal friendships. One manager didn't like a hand-full of employees who spoke up against his anger and inappropriate treatment of them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not protect ill-mannered managers and allow them to harass employees and have others spy on employees who complained about their bad behaviors. Protect good employees.

    Recommends
    No opinion of CEO
