Pros

For the most part everyone is pretty relaxed and easy to work with.

Cons

Work there long enough and politics comes into play. People tend to stay in the best positions for a long time.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rotational development. You see this a lot in F&B, I think this brings the team closer together and gives employees an opportunity to advance their skill sets and experience.

    There is absolutely no pros at for this job its the worst job to have and management sucks.

    Cons

    EVERYTHING. Management is the WORST. its nothing but favoritism, and being treated badly. Management doesnt keep their promises or treat you right at all.worst job ive ever had in my life.

    Depending on the property you work at, Ameristar takes care of their team members.

    Cons

    The Vicksburg property does not base raises or promotions on job performance. It strictly based on time at the property, not with the company, and race.
