    Pros

    Right now Amity is the best.

    Cons

    Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan's vision is very clear and It's only his attempts/direction that at present Amity University is No.1 Private University of India. He is a great personality.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Kindly listen everyone so that you can get 100% information about what is happening in YOUR University as employees can get jobs anywhere and you can fill that gap but you can't fill that gap which employees give to the Organization during doing politics at work place as that time, such kind of employee gives importance only his/her development rather than giving importance to the development of Organization and that time he/she uses "Saam, Daam, Dhand, Bhed" for fulfilling his/her desires which are normally harmful for the Organization and you can't fill such kind of gaps which Organization gets at that time when employees are busy in dirty politics and thinks only for self-development. There are some suggestions for the Management which may be seen:

    (1) Team Work must be promoted through interaction programmes between the faculty and staff members as it shall be helpful to complete the assignments before time in a friendly way.
    (2) When everyone thinks of Organization success, it grows and One's growth is also ensured; But when everyone thinks One's growth, a tendency of leg pulling creeps in, which finally leads to Organization as well as One's Failure.
    (3) Promotions, increments etc. must be given on the basis of (a) Performance, (b) Experience, (c) Educational Qualifications, whereas, these are given on the basis of Touching Feet, Giving Gifts to Seniors, Distributing Sweets etc. In a nutshell, it is actually promoting so called Buttering.
    (4) Kindly fix at least ONE DAY IN A MONTH for direct interaction with your employees sothat facts can come into your knowledge as it shall be good in the fastest development of the Organization.
    (5) Communications are deliberately restricted and filtered by the Seniors which is creating frustration among the subordinate officers.

    I worked at Amity University full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    The campus is excellent with all the modern facilities. Ample parking space available. Variety of food available

    Cons

    Poor Management with no ethical values,very selfish approach,too much of politics. Too greedy about money. Long working hours. Do not meet the commitments made to the employees. No salary break-up and no salary slip given to employees. At the time of interview they make you feel like you are the best but later when you join you are treated as a slave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be ethical and value your employees as for any organization employees are its greatest strength. Don't treat your employees like your slaves.
