I have been working at Analysis Group full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Bright people, work is very quant-driven. Lots of learning opportunities in different industries and for different skillsets. My office was very tightly managed and analysts connect with each other very well.

    Cons

Not all people are from Ivy background. Some are from even from less-known state schools. Some analysts struggle to keep up with the quality standard

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Blend in more with analysts and create inter-position team-building activities

I worked at Analysis Group full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Can work on some very interesting cases
    Good recommendations for graduate school
    Diverse work experience

    Cons

Limited career opportunities unless you have an MBA or PhD
    Poor work life balance
Middle management often new or straight out of school and know less about the industry than analysts who have been there for years.
    Pay isn't very competitive

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote analysts who know what they're doing to associate. Don't put fresh MBA's or PhDs who have no idea what they are doing in charge of cases!
