Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Co-workers are overall nice and social people. Some clients are great to work with and generally there is a lot of opportunity to refine client service skills and work with some big name brands.

Cons

Upper management lacks people management skills and takes little interest in employee development. Technology and services are severely outdated when compared to competition. Nothing ever runs smoothly and management offers very little support in times of crisis (which happens on every project). Company sells projects they don't have the capabilities to execute and expects analysts/consultants to "deal with it". No sense of work-life balance and anyone that tries to challenge this notion is penalized.

Advice to Management

Innovate and respect your employees. No matter how many happy hours you have and how casual you think the work environment is, people are unhappy and unless you do something about individual development, work-life balance and technology - people will continue to leave.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Good coworkers. I got the chance to learn some new technology.

    Cons

No life work balance. Poor management. Every project is an emergency. If you have any kind of personal life, and would like to keep it, avoid this company.

    Advice to Management

Take control of this company back from your clients. Over 10 years in business, I would think you have some leverage in the industry by now. Let your employee's know what is going on, what the plan is, don't spring things on them last minute.

  2. High potential to be a great company to work for if management improves ways of working

    Pros

    - Learn consulting and management while young - Challenging work across companies and countries - Opportinuty to grow if you take and work hard at it

    Cons

    - Happy hours don't cure lack of appreciation towards employees continually giving their nights and weekends to the company - As the company grows, the previous structure that works with less employees/clients will not work with more employees and clients. Senior management needs to recognize that change is needed - Company turnover leads to a talent gap, and later hours for everyone. Late hours leads to mistakes and burn out, which leads to people leaving the company. It's a cycle.

    Advice to Management

Be willing to change ways of working as the company grows. It may help reduce turnover, and shows the employees a willingness to be fluid and take action. It shows that you are hearing what they are saying, and that you are doing something about it, instead of nodding to the words
