I have been working at Anderson Merchandisers part-time for less than a year

Pros

Friendly employees, easy work, early morning hours, good pay.

Cons

Not enough hours (only 8 hrs a WEEK) and need better communication between managers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need more hours, need to provide telzons cause some stores don't have enough for Anderson employees and makes jobs harder to complete. Also it would be good if we can view the hours we worked and what we will be getting paid a few days before we actually get paid instead of having to wait for our paystub to be mailed to us after we have already been paid.

I worked at Anderson Merchandisers part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Not any pros that I can remember.

    Cons

    Awful training.
My "trainer' mostly seemed annoyed that I showed up and really angry that she had to spend anytime speaking to me.
A silly amount of work to do in a 4 hour day.
    Not great pay.
Walmart customers yelling at you, when you don't work for walmart.
Not at all organized, I had to look all over the back dock of walmart to find the items I was supposed to stock.
I was not provided with a scanner so most of the time I had to search for where items were supposed to go on the shelf. I suppose this might be mostly because the full time girl wouldn't help me locate the items using her scanner.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do a better job training your new people who come to work for your company. Also maybe not expect your full time people to train new people. They seem pretty overwhelmed and not capable of doing the training.

I worked at Anderson Merchandisers full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Occasionally the movie studios would send us a copy of a new release

    Cons

Pay doesn't make up for the stress the job causes, Too much to do without enough time or help, Little to no support from District Management, Inaccurate instructions given for projects, Telxons/scanners frequently don't work making you unable to do your work, Will fire you the first moment the store says one thing against you- could be something as simple as "being late" because they wouldn't open the door and let you in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire people who have brains, pay them better, and give them help when they ask for it
