Get a clue before you're through or should I say drinking was only cool in school.

I worked at Angie's List

Pros

The people are great. Alcohol served ON THE CLOCK and a BEER KEG.

Cons

Management sucks. Reviews and performance is awarded by quarterly trips, where Management tags-along too. This means that the Managers select their friends to "come with them" on trips. All furniture for all employees is used and bought at auction, supposedly to pass savings to employees.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clear-out middle management; empower employees and implement a real reward system. Buy some new furniture and for heaven's sake, stop allowing people to drink at the work place. You're no longer in college, so grow the *beep* up!

I worked at Angie's List as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Absolutely loved the company culture and campus set up. There are about 20 different buildings within a few blocks. Loved that everyone was pretty young and friendly.

    Cons

Wasn't a huge fan of getting paid partially by bonus because if demand shifts then you may not make as much as you want. Loved the office environment though.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't exploit all but just the best opportunities. Great company but had a lot of great ideas trying to be implemented at one time.
