Former Employee - Co-Manager  in  Denver, CO
Former Employee - Co-Manager in Denver, CO

Pros

-People that work and shop there can make the store environment fun
-Great product and 50% off of full price employee discount

Cons

-Advancement is almost completely based on who you know
-"He said, She said" ends up being more important to upper management than things like sales results and adherence to company policies.
-Too many people were worked out the door without sound reasoning, while "favorites" got away with anything, and could even do things like take more paid vacations than allowed by the company.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The DM needs to work more on hiring Store and Co Managers that are capable of actually doing everything in their job requirements, not friends.

    Pros

Decent hourly pay, nice summer job to have.

    Cons

Not much room for growth, however it was a summer job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please hire managers that work together. There is nothing worse than working for 3-4 different managers and they all have differing opinions on what needs to be done and how.
