Fun, but the management isn't great.

I have been working at Ann Taylor part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Most of the other employees are nice. There is a 50% discount and we receive a lot of vouchers for 75% off certain items. It's fun!

    Cons

Sometimes the store can be horrible. However, the bad ones usually get fired pretty quickly. Also, sometimes it is really hard to get enough hours if customers aren't coming in as much as usual.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care about your employees and stop stealing from the store!

    Pros

The company offered a decent discount.

    Cons

terrible upper managment leadership. incredibly focused on micro managing without looking at the big picture. corporate changes direction daily leaving stores confused as to what their daily tasking should entail. extremely clique-y within districts. staff not paid what they are worth & egos are out of control. The brand culture pretends to be something it is not. Corporate does not care about the clients. They care about beating last years numbers.
