Cons

Laying off from other location since they find benefit moving the Business from US to India.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Frequent changes are always not good,Stop hiring people when you can't accomodate in the firm.

    I worked at Aon Hewitt full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - decent benefits
    - relaxed attire and atmosphere
    - work from home privileges depending on your manager

    Cons

    - pay, pay, pay and pay. I cant stress this enough, for the work you do and are expected to do, the pay is far below the industry standard
    - I would echo others in that, room for advancement is only dictated by who you know and your relationship with management
    - Recognition and performance reviews are highly subjective and often do not reflect the true nature of your work and capability
    - if in technology, career advancement will be limited. You can get from setup config specialist to systems analyst in a few years, and to lead systems analyst in maybe another 5 years. The work will continue to grow will your salary will increase only marginally.
    - in some circumstances, verbal abuse that I have witnesses that surely should have been reported to HR, but was not because of relationship between the person behaving poorly and senior management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -Restructure compensation packages for employees.
    -Assess the recognition, promotion and performance review processes
    -Creation of some venue for employees to voice concerns about unethical and harmful behavior in the work environment without fear of retribution
