My experience at Aon Hewitt has been of tedium occasionally interrupted by loathing.

Pros

Constant turnover of employees makes for many opportunities to meet new friends.

Cons

The major con is that there are so few pros.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't build a world-class company with third-rate people. You can't keep first rate people by giving middle of the market rewards.

I have been working at Aon Hewitt full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good benefits, starting pay was okay.

    Cons

Promises of advancement have fallen through; company tried to take on too much initially and failed. Ended up laying off many employees. Unable to adjust hours, my shift has had their hours changed multiple times. Also, has given awards for sales when some advisors had benefit of more hours than others, more licensed states to sell in, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to be more fair with ALL employees; recognition for sales (not just top 2 or 3). Listen to suggestions from employees, ASK for volunteers to work certain hours.
