Worst job I have ever had

I have been working at Aon Hewitt

    Pros

Most of the people I have met are nice (some only to your face)
    Location is good
Decent benefits in comparison to most large corporations

    Cons

    Too much micromanaging
Expected to work long hours with no incentive (for some, others may get a hush hush incentive)
Threatened by management to meet deadlines
Reviews are a joke, being told you are doing well throughout the year, and then come review time, pointing out all your flaws
Having coworkers review you (most use this as a time to 'get you back' or stab you in the back)
Little understanding of what 'constructive critisism' actually means
Training is useless, you must use their in house tools with little to no guidence, and figure out all the 'workarounds' as the tools are not stable
    Sink or swim mentality
Many bitter employees that have been there 5+ years
    Sad, unhappy environment
Most use sametime to communicate, even if they sit right next to you
Alot of people "work from home" making it difficult for newer employees to learn anything
Lack of communication on all levels
Expected to learn new project work with bad/old documentation, little to no communication (LEAN), with aggressive deadlines that are almost impossible to meet (unless you want to work 80 hr weeks) Even then you are so burnt out that you can't even think straight let alone do a quality job
It's all about quantity and not quality at this company
    Constant changes
Management pushing projects so that they can reap the benefits come bonus time

I could probably go on and on, but I think one can get the point. I do believe most people could complain about their jobs in some form or another, but I will say I have never worked in an environment quite like this. I cannot believe some of the things they get away with here, and I definitely cannot believe how brainwashed alot of the employees are at this company. I have worked with some that may be the hardest workers I have ever seen, and others that have no clue what they are doing and are getting by due to their social status. It's very sad. I do think there are areas that might be OK within this company, I just don't happen to be in one of them.
