As a student, you will have a lot of opportunity to learn at Hewitt.

Cons

As a senior consultant, Hewitt does not offer a lot of room for growth...unless you work in the "mother ship" in Lincolnshire.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You'll regret selling out to Aon.

    Pros

    All the Pros left when the company when public.

    Cons

    Work/life balance is no longer in existance. After all - The business comes first. You family is not important, your health is not important. This is DEFINATELY the message we hear loud and clear.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Rather than trying to force voluntary attrition, how about trying to keep your talent and build a stronger company.

    Pros

    - helpful and friendly collegues
    - autonomous and independent work (laissez-faire)
    - interesting deals and clients
    - you can work here until 70 years or older (experience is important)

    Cons

    - location of office (but modern facilities and equipment)
    - few external training programmes/possibilities (only training on-the-job)
    - integration problems with new bought companies
    - feedback is uncommon

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More intern training programmes, job-rotation or extra-bonus for good performance are recommendable
