Low Morale in the Workplace

Account Specialist (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsMy department is more of a relax environment in comparaision to some. I can at least appreciate that

ConsThe medical benefits are expensive and deductibles are high. It gets worst every year being employed at AON. Please get your salary up front because it is difficult to move positions within the company a raise promotion is only at 4% unless you are way out that postition salary ranage. The most you can get for an annual raise doing an outstanding job without a promotion is 2%. There is not much encouragement here just waiting for the economy to improve to find a new opportunity

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

In one sentence? How about one word.........No.

    Trainer (Current Employee) Glenview, IL

I have been working at Aon full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Sacrificing personal liberties and a small amount of your humanity… Cons: No work life balance, unless your life is about work. And poor management in general. The performance management… Advice to Senior Management: Grow up, and stop throwing all of your employees under the bus. You know, if you'd actually create an enjoyable place to work, you could… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Professional environment, flat structure and large market share provides great early career opportunities

Account Representative (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

I have been working at Aon full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: - Great work environment - Senior management has extensive knowledge of the industry and is generally willing to help you grow - Competitive pay and benefits -… Cons: - As is with all large firms (esp. in brokerage) senior level employees tend to stay beyond retirement… Advice to Senior Management: Continue to provide your younger generation employees with industry knowledge and talent… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
