Aon is a great company but little room for advancement.

Administrative Assistant (Current Employee)

ProsSolid company, friendly and smart people, average benefits.

ConsDepending on your position, little room for advancement. Due to the downturn of the economy there had been little or no raises on a yearly basis. Terrible communication. No official training for new employees in place and tends to be a sink or swim environment.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere should be an opportunity for everyone in the company to move up. Aon needs to provide better training for new employees and for employees that have been promoted to management positions.
