Average corporation

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Aon full-time for more than 3 years

ProsOverall good colleagues to work with, lots of innovation happening currently, respected company in industry

ConsBureaucracy, lacks investment in employees, lacks investment in efficient IT hardware/software/intranet

Advice to Senior ManagementWe consult on best practices in HR. It would be effective if we implemented those best practices internally according to our value of "unmatched talent."

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Not a Place I'd Work Again

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Aon

Pros: It's a great résumé builder in the industry. There are a number of good… Cons: It's not a great place to build a career. It's very difficult to move up or around. … Advice to Senior Management: Create a training program for young employees. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Life is much better outside of Aon - Denver

Account Specialist (Current Employee)
Denver, CO

I have been working at Aon full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Descent salary. Perks if you are an Account Specialist or Account Executive (carriers taking you out… Cons: No commuter benefits. Most unprofessional environment that I've ever worked for… Advice to Senior Management: Lead by example. Worry less about being 'liked' and more about being a respectable leader; to all… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
