    Pros

Great people. Engaged, smart, professional. Good work life balance, although it varies by manager. Convenient location in downtown San Francisco near public transportation hubs -- busses, BART, Muni, and ferries. Noble mission.

    Cons

Frequent reorgs with little real change at the middle levels cause a lot of frustration. Compensation is average. Benefits are average. Lots of cost cutting measures. Poor communication from senior management.

I have been working at Apollo Education Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Opportunities throughout the company to be an agent of change. People who are strong advocates of education and who believe in what they do or what they sell. Internal growth opportunities are plentiful. Very good corporate culture.

    Cons

Lots of growing pains - Infrastructure not always able to keep up with growth or change. Lots of systems/technology improvements needed. Exec leadership not highly communicative.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Being able to reinvent ourselves to keep up with the industry and market changes is absolutely necessary. However, more effort needed to communicate to employees direction and changes taking place to keep us involved and feeling a part of what is happening. Can be scary to wait to see what is going to happen rather than to be a part of the change that is taking place.
