Leads and Managers are good professionals, team is friendly.

    Cons

Some chaos, but this is a downside of any company that decided to choose Agile.

I have been working at AppSense full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

People who care about each other and about being successful. Working environment, compensation, benefits, and opportunity are all decent. Management is eager to hear from employees, especially when it is clear the person giving the feedback is working as a team member to improve the organization, not just complain.
The product is top shelf and the CLEAR leader in an industry that is rapidly growing. As companies move closer and closer to dreams of stateless computing, they inevitably realize their need for AppSense to complete the formula and give users a seamless experience.

    Cons

There have been some bumps in the road for sure. Some of the C-level management, while good for the company when it was smaller, was not equipped to take the company to the next threshold and in some cases held a narrow focus around achieving an IPO. The needed changes were finally made and new players are on the field with a much more mature agenda. Unfortunately, there were many among the rank and file who couldn’t accept the new vision and direction and needed to be trimmed. Many of these folks had narrow aspirations and had allowed bitterness to develop. You will see some of their reviews here. Some were cut because of poor attitudes and visualization or simple economics, and others left because they couldn’t adjust to the new vision.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good communication and honest assessment of what it takes to get back on the growth track. Keep your eye out for the super-stars we have and make sure they get the opportunity to advance.
