At Home Advisor

I worked at Apple full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Benefits, how they treated employees, discounts. Apple I a very respected company and looks great on your resume. Great work for college students.

Cons

Working from home was not for me. I would rather get up and go to work. The pay for At Home Advisors is less than iOS Support. If you want to work for Apple, go through a temp agency and you will have the opportunity to be hired on permanently.

I have been working at Apple full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with. Very diverse group of people with various life experiences. Store leadership communicates well and seems to care about its direct reports. Opportunities abound for those who have the "right" stuff (e.g. results, mastery of competencies, experience, etc.). Compensation is at upper echelon of retail.

    Cons

Development can be vague: No clear direction or guidance on how to develop opportunities and/or strengths. Very little, if any, work/life balance for full-time employees with other commitments which may be more important (e.g. family, spiritual/religious, etc.).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give clear guidance for direct reports and better work-life balance for full-time employees who have other commitments.
