I worked at Apple full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Apple has great benefits, including the Employee Stock Purchase Program, awesome health care, regular Employee Enrichment events (beer bashes, etc.), and a relaxed atmosphere with no dress code… If you excel in your position, it is normal (almost expected) that you will be able to move to a higher position in an area that interests you. The management staff is really good, as is the management style of Apple in general.

    Cons

Depending on which building you work in, you may or may not have easy access to [A] the cafeteria, [B] all of the events. Also, for hourly employees, you may end up getting a shift that is less than desirable now and then… but shift cycles rotate often enough that you won't usually get stuck with a bad one for too long, and management is very fair about working with people to get them their top choices.
