Pros

A great company with great history and many great product. Great benefit, treat employees very well.

Cons

Too many products going on, many products not making money and losing market share. Lots of lay-off recently. From software point of view, this is just not a software company...

Advice to Management

Invest in software. That's less money but can make product must more competitive.

    Pros

Highly intelligent workforce, many opportunities to move around and grow your career. Challenging work for most roles, not boring! Lots of opportunities to make recommendations and influence up.

    Cons

Many senior leaders seem to drive their own siloed agendas. It's not political in the sense of internal aggression, but it is difficult to collaborate and work across BU's and functions. Long-timers are rather jaded, probably because they have seen so many ups and downs in this highly cyclical environment.

    Advice to Management

Time to shake things up at the top. Get some fresh blood who are willing to commit to the company strategy and willing to develop their workforce. This will raise our competitiveness as well as raise engagement and retention.
