Applied Materials Anonymous:   (Past Employee - 2008)

Pros

Many opportunities for career developmnet, cross-training, attending training off-campus. Good salaries and benefits.

Cons

No upward mobility. Very much an old boys club. No women in managment or corporate-level positions. Corporate level employees are never laid off, only rank and file. Very political.

Advice to Senior Management

Provide opportunties for qualified women.
