Pros

High salary compared with peers, excellent bonus structure for mid level and up

Cons

Corporate and business unit strategies change too often creating a reactive and chaotic work environment, rolling layoffs every quarter, recent changes in the benefits structure are more invasive and lower coverage trends.

Advice to Management

Increase accountability. Streamline activities. Get you operating costs to an acceptable point and hold them there - stop the rolling layoffs.

    Pros

Good place to learn about a manufacturing company. As a financial analyst you learn a lot and work with some very bright people. You are challenged and have the opportunity to rotate to different roles. If you are looking to excel in your function (marketing, supply, HR, finance, etc) this is a good place to learn and hone your skills.

    Cons

If you are not interested in the technology it is hard to connect with the company. This is a nanotechnology company and the products and services provided are very technical. The industry is cyclical and layoffs come every 4-6 years.

  2. Innovative, high intensity workplace, customer focused
