    Pros: For an engineer, the technical challenges and problems are very interesting. There is always room to contribute ideas, make things better and make an impact… Cons: Promotions are not forthcoming unless you sacrifice a lot of time on projects on management's radar. Work-life balance takes a terrible toll.… Advice to Senior Management: Go back to the core values that made Applied Materials what it was in its heydays.
