    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Awful company that could care less if you or your family lives or dies. As long as someone is sitting in a chair who can answer a phone they're happy. My advice: run in the other direction if you value professionalism and integrity in the workplace.

I worked at Apria Healthcare full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The starting pay is pretty good, compared to most places. They make you feel amazing when you first get hired on...but just wait.

    Cons

There is literally no training. None. They give you a massive amount of brand new feeding tube patients (I worked in the enteral department), and then you are sent out on your own to 'handle' them. How do you handle patient accounts with no training. It is scary. You pretty much learn things on your own as you go, with no real clue on whether or not you are doing it correctly. No one cares either...until you mess up, then you hear all about it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop hiring 'supervisors' who tell us to 'figure it out' when we have questions on stuff that we were never trained on. Quit running employees out who have excellent potential to do great things there at Apria. Ask your sellers what they think...even they will tell you that the employees receive no training and are expected to service an unrealistic amount of patients.
