Pros

Simple work, easy hours, no pressure, gym in basement, 50% off at Arby's,

Cons

Uninteresting work, small organization with no growth or learning opportunities, unimpressive leadership, unimpressive technology, office has no energy or ambition (could be a pro depending on your preferences), benefits are substandard, 401k is substandard (you have to wait 12 months)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not really advice - the organization has a passive culture because it refects the passive "style" of management. My advice is to the Board that directs management: light a fire under ARCOP because it is running at about 40-50% productivity.

I suppose it would benefit all to train and develop itts people. It almost seemed like management did not know how to develop people. Of course, this is a common problem wthin many organizations.

Former Employee - Shift Manager in Lindon, UT

    Pros

Arby's is a very fun job to work if you are a very social person. Discount on employee meals is nice too.

    Cons

Just as with other fast food companies the pay is really low for the amount of work done. Strict uniforms.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are willing to pay more, you will keep your hard-working employees from moving on and won't have to try again with new employees. Other chains pay minimum 10$+ and they have the hardest working good looking employees. 1 hard working, well paid employee can be more effective than 2 low-paid high school kids.

    No opinion of CEO

Current Employee - Cashier in Council Bluffs, IA

    Pros

On occasion, you can earn free food, for coming in short noticed and what not. You do get a 50% off discount if you like to eat Arby's. Im sure the pay is better than other fast food.

    Cons

The management is like a group of high schoolers, creating drama and probing in to your personal life. For the amount of pressure, rude customers and work you do, the pay is not enough. Labor is more important than giving the workers hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring in a new general manager, that work could possibly get better and the turnover rate wouldn't be so high.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO
