Current Employee – been working at Arby's
Pros – Ultimately, Arby's is a great place to work if you are looking for an environment which is fun and energy driven. Regional management provides constant feedback and there is a continuous drive for education and training. The salary is decent, though not as high as you will find in other Qucik Service Restaurants. In the end the team of each individual store makes or breaks whether you will enjoy Arby's as a whole. I have worked for Arby's in multiple locations and seen both great teams which make coming to work easy and fun; as well as, bad teams which do the opposite.
Cons – Ultimately, the biggest downside is as I mentioned the enjoyment you will find with Arby's comes from the team which surrounds you. If you are locate in a store which has trouble working together often you will see numerous issues that can simply ruin your experience. As well, being in Atlanta means that every store, no matter how grossing, has the potential to have any number of leadership dropping by to visit the store and checking compliance with many minor things. This leads ultimately to days where supervisors and Arby's leadership will assign extra tasks that must be completed immediately, but expect at the same time for you to maintain service levels.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop perpetuating a double standard in customer service as well operations, as well as attempt to understand what occurs on a daily level in your restaurants.
