ArcelorMittal – “It was a good place to work at & it still can be...”

Pros

It was challenging by developing & costing new manufacturing processes for new/different tubular products for the tubular/automotive industry. It was a comradary/friendly workplace where everyone was helpful with their input of experiences/information & know how when questions were asked... Everyone pulled together to move the company forward & meet its goals. It was an excellent atmosphere to work in....

Cons

The company went through many name changes & different management styles thus going in many different directions. Risks were not taken when they should of & opportunities were lost...This would of helped through these ecomomic times...

Advice to Senior Management

Remove the bully tactic & replace with more people skills. As well, better forcasting/planning with diversity of products away from the auto sector.
