ArcelorMittal – “Not the company it used to be...”

Cons

Company too large. Senior Management does not make decisions unless approved by Management Board. Company appears to be micromanaged. Employees are quite dispensible.
Base pays are below standard. Arcelor type management changed drastically with Mittal merger. No where near the same company Arcelor was.

Too many changes take place without letting the first change take hold and see results. Employees don't know which direction they are going in.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop micro-managing. Let Senior Management do the jobs they were hired for or get rid of them and save the company loads of money.

Listen to your employees - they are the ones doing the work and can give you a wealth of information and ideas. Better treatment of employees will make for a better company.
