I have been working at Arizona Grand Resort full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Good work environment and friendly staff.

Cons

Low comparison wages. Almost all upper-level staff has been there for many years, which sounds good, but means they are not very open to new ideas.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage more growth opportunities.

I worked at Arizona Grand Resort full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Easy to get a job in the Lobby Grill restaurant because of the high turnover.

    Cons

Negative work environment. The management is indifferent at best, and verbally abusive at worst. No sick days. In a restaurant, no less. One week of vacation after a year of service. High turnover. Coworkers are cutthroat and steal your tables.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Advice doesn't matter, the heads of private companies live and die by the profit that goes into their pockets and those of their family members. Promote a culture of positivity, at least?

I have been working at Arizona Grand Resort

    Pros

Can be decent pay in peak season

    Cons

Heavy lifting, short ever changing deadlines to be ready for an event, weeks/months without work. No benefits accrued not even part-time benefits, even after several years on part-time because the off season knocks you down to on-call status. During summers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Respect your employees and encourage/require others to do the same and require workers speak English, causes a major barrier when workers switch from English to spanish in the middle of a conversation to isolate others.
