I worked at Arrow Electronics full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Offer a lot of opportunities for hiring within. When plant closed, were offered generous severance packages, or chance to relocate out of state and a moving assistance.

Cons

Was hired on from being a temp, and the process was very time consuming and seemed like paperwork wasn't processed as efficiently as possible.

I worked at Arrow Electronics full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The employees at Arrow Electronics are a pleasure to work with.

    Cons

The IT orginization needs to be re-thought.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The way the IT org is structured is not conducive to allowing employees to perform to their full potential. The separation of duties is too great that it is impossible to feel 'a part of'. Instead there is a feeling of 'I did my part' and that is that. This is unfortunate as most employees are knowledgeable and willing enough to where many hats, if allowed.
