I have been working at Arrow Electronics full-time

Pros

Work life balance. Great employees to be around and work with. Work environment is decent. Big reputable company that's looks good to work for.

Cons

The pay is horrendous and raises come rare. Career advancement is extremely difficult and they dangle carrots in front of your face.

I worked at Arrow Electronics part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

There is vision, direction, and accountability to set expectations. You have to know what the goal is in order to move towards it and this was absolutely clear.

    Cons

Must perform to Wall Street expectations and, unfortunately, that means laying employees off during tough financial times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ensure that you keep the productive employees.

I worked at Arrow Electronics full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The only positive about the company was the benefits but eventually those even were a disappointment

    Cons

Extreme micro management, very little chance for advancement, even less of a chance to make money in sales. Every time a sales person would achieve their goals and objectives instead of rewarding with commissions and bonuses, the management would increase the goals and objectives.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start caring more about your employees success and happiness than the numbers reported to wall street
