    I worked at Arup

    Pros

-Can learn about different specialized areas such as structural, mechanical, plumbing if you actually took the time to ask about how they go about their job
    -friendly environment
    -interesting projects

    Cons

-kept you busy with work that was mainly routine
-pay was ok as intern but heard its average of below once employed full time

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I understand as interns management cant invest too much time because they know there is a chance that interns may not come back but in my experience I rarely spoke to my manager and mainly worked hand in hand with regular employees or senior engineers. There should be a better level of communication between the two and allow the young engineer know what to do to become successful or how to manage one day and of course how to get paid better because ultimately thats eveyones goal
