Pros

has given me a paycheck for over a year

Cons

everything else. They try to make you work Saturdays and tell you it will be notated if you do not. They constantly change your scheduled hours of work and managers lie to your face.

Advice to Management

better training and people skills. not everyone wants or deserves to go to college.

    Pros

*Great benefits package with vacation/sick/holidays; they offer overtime frequently *Nice building *Energetic work environment with gym and cafe *Free tuition if you want to attend school there *There are lot of employees who do care and are there to help students succeed that would never have had the chance otherwise *Great learning experience on what not to do, and how not to manage

    Cons

*Admissions is a complete sales job. It is stressful, with lots of high pressure and you are NEVER good enough. It is not about the student, it is about the number for the day. Honestly, this is education, not sales! *Pressure you into working weekends when it is unnecessary *Zero communication skills---they never tell you what is going on and then the next day, everything may be different in your department and they expect you to just "embrace change" *They do not value their employees and everyone feels extremely disposable *If one is "producing" they can get away with almost anything. I have seen the most unethical workers keep their jobs because they were enrolling students like crazy (the students end up dropping and are left with a huge bill they cannot pay) I hate writing reviews like this because normally I am such a positive person. The way this company is run is so frustrating that I needed to speak the truth.

    Advice to Management

*Realize what is actually going on with the company and do something to change it. Stop turning your backs on what is really going on. Also, please start promoting people that actually have some intelligence; most of the managers were not promoted for the right reasons and are not very bright *Stop making changes just because you HAVE to (or they will lose accreditation) but because you want to and actually care; practice what you preach *Start following your core values; integrity? Though there are some great employees that work at the company (mostly because the economy is so bad), the culture does not promote ethics or integrity by any means
